Lake City Public Library Site of Cap Caper
Hats and headgear were the style when the "Fall into Books" children met for story time at Lake City Public Library. After reading books titled Caps for Sale and Ho for a Hat, the three- to five-year-olds got into the act, modeling a variety of headwear. Brian Steig (the Cat in the Hat) and wizard Megan Gray, seated on the floor, are flanked by fireman Khyean Hawkins; princess Allison Riat; Macy Macke in glamour headband; princesses Ella Duncan and Makelsie Gorden; and jester Jake Marxen. Baby Tristin Gorden, guest of her big sister, apparently preferred a nap to a cap. "Fall into Books" continues on Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. through Nov. 20.
